Publication Ethic
The Shaut al-Maktabah journal is a scientific journal that's published online and publishes articles or scientific works of research results in the field of library and information science as well as allied fields such as archives, documentation and museums.
This ethical statement of scientific publication is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the process of publishing this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, review partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications basically upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, namely granting authorship rights to those entitled to become authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.

Journal Manager's Duties and Responsibilities
Determining the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if needed. Determining the membership of the editorial board. Defining the relationship between publishers, editors, review partners, and other parties in a contract. Appreciating confidential matters, both for contributing researchers, authors, editors, and review partners. Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyrights. Review journal policies and submit them to authors, editorial boards, review partners, and readers. Create code of conduct guidelines for editors and review partners. Publish journals regularly. Ensure availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publications. Build cooperation and marketing networks. Prepare licensing and other legal aspects.
Editor's Duties and Responsibilities
Meeting the needs of readers and writers, Strive to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis, Implement processes to ensure the quality of published papers, Prioritize freedom of opinion objectively, Maintain the integrity of the author's academic track record, Submit corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary, Responsible responsibility for the style and format of the paper, while the content and all statements in the written work are the responsibility of the author, Actively ask for opinions from authors, readers, reviewers, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of publications, Encouraging an assessment of the journal if there are findings, Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethics Clearance form that has been approved by the Ethics Clearance Commission Support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics Assessing the effect of publication policies on attitudes of authors and partners review and improve it to increase responsibility and minimize errors Have an open mind to new opinions or other people's views that may conflict with personal opinions Not defending their own opinions, authors or third parties which can result in unobjective decisions Encourages the author to be able to make improvements to the written work so that it is worthy of publication.

Author's Duties and Responsibilities
