History of Shaut Al-Maktabah: Jurnal Perpustakaan, Arsip dan Dokumentasi

Shaut Al-Maktabah is a scholarly journal published by the Prodi D3 Ilmu Perpustakaan, Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The journal has been a platform for research in Library, Archives, and Documentation Science since its inception in 2009.

Key Milestones:

• June 2009: Shaut Al-Maktabah was first published, focusing on research and studies in Library and Archives Science. The journal publishes articles primarily in Indonesian, with two issues released every year.

• June 2017: The journal fully transitioned to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, enabling better management, accessibility, and reader engagement.

• August 2019: The journal submitted an application for SINTA (Science and Technology Index) accreditation to enhance its visibility and recognition in the academic community.

• January 2020: Shaut Al-Maktabah achieved SINTA 5 accreditation, a milestone that attested to the quality and relevance of the journal’s contributions to the field.

• February 9, 2023: Under a new management team, the journal successfully maintained its SINTA 5 accreditation, demonstrating continued commitment to high academic standards.

• 2024: Shaut Al-Maktabah is now in its Volume 16, Issue 2, reflecting its continued growth and relevance in the academic field of Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies.
