ANALISIS BIBLIOMETRIK : LAYANAN PERPUSTAKAAN TERHADAP PENYANDANG DISABILITAS KOGNITIF

This study analyses trends in scientific publications related to library services for people with cognitive disabilities through a bibliometric approach. Data was retrieved from Google Scholar using a combination of relevant keywords, covering the period 2020-2024. The results of the analysis show an increase in publications in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which drives the need for adaptive technology to support accessibility. However, this trend experienced a sharp decline in the following years. Wiley Online Library emerged as a major publishing platform with significant contributions to the literature in this field. In addition, analysis of author productivity and relationship strength showed that strategic collaboration has a significant impact on research influence. This research provides important implications for the development of more inclusive library services, especially for people with cognitive disabilities. Utilization of participatory designed technology and diversification of publishing platforms are key recommendations. For future research, it is recommended to focus on longitudinal analysis, adaptive technology development, and exploration of the specific needs of this disability group. It is hoped that this research will provide a solid foundation for improving the accessibility and inclusiveness of library services globally.

This article discusses the availability of library collections related to the local content curriculum of Malay culture. The Riau Malay culture local content curriculum has been started for a long time in Riau and especially in Pekanbaru. Every year the quality of the curriculum and teaching staff also continues to be improved. This should also be supported by the availability of collections in school libraries to support learning and support the successful implementation of the local content curriculum at the Senior High School level. The sample of this study came from 15 randomly selected schools, namely 9 high schools and 6 vocational schools spread across the city of Pekanbaru. The results show that for the high school category, for each grade level, namely class X, class XI and class XII, the library has all the handbooks in the form of compulsory handbooks of Malay Culture subjects. But for SMK, each school is different, in general only class X and Class XI are still studying Malay Culture. For class XII it is no longer because students focus on school vocational subjects. For supporting collections, it is still dominated by book collections. In terms of the number of collections in general, it does not meet the needs, so the library makes it a reference collection. In terms of titles, it has seen diversity, it's just that some schools only have package books / handbooks for teachers and students without having reference books to support subjects.

TRANSFORMASI MANAJEMEN PERPUSTAKAAN DI ERA DIGITAL: TANTANGAN DAN PELUANG

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to library management, presenting new challenges and opportunities. This article aims to investigate how digital technology affects library management practices and how libraries can adapt to these changes. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to analyze relevant literature from 2014 to 2024, focusing on the impact of digital technology on library services, the challenges faced, and the opportunities that can be leveraged. The findings indicate that libraries face various challenges, including limited resources, staff resistance to new technologies, and information security issues. Nevertheless, digital technology also offers opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation, better data management, and the development of interactive services that can increase user engagement. The research reveals that the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics can assist libraries in making better decisions and improving user experiences. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of library management in formulating policies that support adaptation to new technologies and creating an organizational culture that is open to change. By effectively leveraging digital technology, libraries can strengthen their position as knowledge centers in society and meet the evolving information needs of users. Strategic recommendations are suggested to enhance librarian training and establish collaborative partnerships to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the digital era.

This research is an application of social inclusion-based library transformation in public libraries. Public libraries serve as centers of information and knowledge dissemination, and their role is increasingly important in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to evaluate the implementation of social inclusion-based libraries in various regions and identify key supporting factors and obstacles faced. The results show that social inclusion-based libraries play an important role in improving people's knowledge and skills, as well as providing a comfortable and open space for everyone. This library transformation promotes equality, justice and sustainable development, and increases literacy and community participation in library activities. Thus, social inclusion-based libraries can contribute to the overall well-being of society.

ATLAS NAMA-NAMA DAERAH DALAM AL-QUR’AN

This research is motivated by the issues that occur in Palestine until now. Is Palestine mentioned directly in the Qur'an or not. To find out this, no reference was found to answer the question. So, this research aims to index the names of regions that are mentioned directly in the Qur'an. The type of research used is development research (Research and Development) which aims to produce an Atlas of Regional Names in the Qur'an product. The results showed that the product produced had met the validity criteria, as evidenced by the assessment by the validator obtaining an A which means very good. Next, this product was tested on two groups of respondents, namely small groups and large groups. The results of the trial in the small group showed a percentage of 90.28% and in the large group 92.57%. Based on the results of the trials of the two groups, it can be concluded that the Atlas product of Regional Names in the Qur'an obtained very good percentage criteria. So, this product has been declared valid, practical, effective, and efficient.

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has reshaped various sectors, including libraries, which face new challenges and opportunities. This study aims to analyze the impact of AI implementation on the role of librarians in the digital era. Through literature review and case analysis, this research identifies significant changes in the tasks and responsibilities of librarians due to AI integration. The findings indicate that AI can automate routine tasks, such as cataloging, information retrieval, and collection management, allowing librarians to focus more on creative and strategic tasks, such as program development and user interaction. However, there are concerns about the potential replacement of librarians by AI. This study concludes that while the role of librarians will undergo significant transformation, they will remain relevant. Future librarians need to develop expertise in information technology, data analysis, and AI-based service development to provide greater added value to library users.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the interpersonal communication of librarians at the UPT Library UIN Imam Bonjol Padang contributes to higher user satisfaction. In addition to providing resources, the library serves as an academic information center by fostering human connections between librarians and patrons. Descriptive qualitative research methodology is employed, and data is gathered via literature reviews, interviews, documentation, and observation. The findings demonstrated that library satisfaction is positively impacted by effective interpersonal communication. Effective interpersonal communicators are able to comprehend user requirements, respond to those needs, and provide a welcoming environment for patrons.

This study focuses on the importance of social spaces such as libraries which can help individuals face emotional and psychological challenges. The aim of this article is to explore the role of libraries as spaces for reflection and recreation that can reduce stress and improve mental well-being. This research uses a qualitative approach by analyzing various references that focus on mental health. The library method in this research was used to analyze various relevant references regarding the role of libraries in improving mental health. The research results show that libraries that provide a calm atmosphere and various activities can help individuals to self-reflect and gain knowledge that is useful for managing mental health. Libraries also function as a positive escape from the stresses of everyday life. The conclusion of this article is that libraries not only act as information centers, but also as important spaces in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of their visitors. With proper management, libraries can become places that support mental recovery in society.

This study aims to analyse the availability of library material collections at the Padang City Library and Archives Office in meeting the information needs of users. The method used is a qualitative approach with literature study as the basis for data collection. Public libraries act as information centres, sources of knowledge, and recreational facilities aimed at the wider community. The availability of collections is one of the main indicators of the library's success in fulfilling information needs, which include cognitive, affective, personal integration, social integration, and fantasy needs. The results show that the library has tried to provide a relevant, up-to-date and diverse collection, based on the analysis of library users' needs and the frequency of use of the collection. In addition, the librarian's cooperation with various parties also supports the optimal collection procurement process. However, challenges in terms of collection completeness and management are still a concern. FAKTOR PENYEBAB TINDAKAN KENAKALAN DI KALANGAN PENGGUNA PERPUSTAKAAN PERGURUAN TINGGI

Delinquent behavior in academic libraries poses a serious challenge to the optimization of libraries as centers of learning. Issues such as overdue book returns, mutilation of library materials, and vandalism of facilities are prevalent, causing significant disruption to library operations and other users. This study aims to identify the types of delinquent behaviors, their contributing factors, and potential solutions to mitigate these issues at the Academic Library X in Padang. Using a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 50 library users through structured questionnaires, with data analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that 90% of respondents reported overdue book returns as the most common delinquent act, followed by concealing library materials (75%), mutilation of materials (60%), and vandalism of facilities (45%). The primary contributing factors include insufficient copies of library materials (85%), limited photocopying services (70%), high academic pressure (65%), and inadequate library security measures (60%). Proposed solutions include increasing the number of library material copies, improving photocopying services, strengthening security systems, and implementing user orientation programs for new students. Collaboration between the library and faculty is also recommended to enhance students' awareness of the importance of preserving library facilities and adhering to established rules. This study provides valuable insights for improving the sustainability of library services in academic environments.
